Tony Raunic is one of Victoria's leading public law advisors. Drawing on his own personal experience as an elected Councillor and Mayor, for many years Tony has provided advice on procurement, governance and transactional issues to a significant number of Victorian metropolitan, regional and rural local government entities.
Tony and his team also assist a number of Victorian State Government departments and instrumentalities with their legal needs including Department of Health and Human Services, Department of Treasury and Finance, Director of Housing, VicRoads and Department of Transport, Parks Victoria, Country Fire Authority and the Independent Broad-based Anti- Corruption Commission.

Besides his public law practice, Tony has over 25 years' experience advising private and public sector clients in their property transactions including the sale and purchase of real estate holdings and representing landlords and tenants in commercial lease matters.
Tony also has an interest in the law of self-storage. He leads the Hunt & Hunt team that provides legal support to Australian members of the Self Storage Association of Australasia and its legal help desk.

Tony holds degrees in Law and Commerce from the University of Melbourne and a Masters in Business Administration from Latrobe University. He has travelled extensively and studied at Ecole Supérieure de Commerce in Dijon France.
Tony's father emigrated from post-war Croatia and Tony speaks the Italian dialect from the Istra region of Croatia.
Outside the office, Tony is a regular runner taking on the Tan track each week day and a keen cyclist. When not commuting via his own legs, Tony is a car enthusiast and still loves the rumble of his old style V8 powered car.
